1. London Guide

Des Paul recommends

I have picked a whole load more nights that must not be missed. This is your only guide to big nights out in London.

Kinky Malinki! If the name alone isn’t good enough to get you to their Ibiza Reunion on Nov 1st, you’re sure to be persuaded by the energizing mix of Divine Uplifting House. Hosted by London’s newest super-club The House and Terrace , you’ll be spoilt for choice with everything from Kid Massive’s funky sounds to Anthony Collin’s techno beats spread across this multi-spaced venue. Doors open at 10pm and tickets cost £10/20

Ever found yourself dancing round your bathroom? Well now’s your chance to take your moves to the toilet if you haven't ever before. The Shoreditch club, Public Life , started out as a public toilet and continues to serve the masses of happy clubbers but these days with funky tunes instead of funky fumes. If you want to sample the daytime delights of this alternative techno venue, get down to Commercial Street this Saturday between 10.30an and 5pm. Entry £10.

If you fancy something a bit different head to WC1’s AKA Bar on Thursday 13th Nov for the latest Japanese sounds and minimal house with style from the likes of Tomoki Tamura and Junkboxx. At just £5 entry before 11pm it’s also a bit of a bargain, so what are you waiting for?

It’s been around for 11 years and about to close for good, so if you’ve never sampled the electro-house delights of Chew The Fat before, make sure you get down to The End ’s farewell party from 10 pm, Friday 14th Nov. With a packed line up including the return of Chew The Fat’s originator, Paul “Trouble” Arnold, if you miss this you really will miss out..
£14/ £10 NUS 10pm- 6am

Free Events

If you running a little short of cash but still fancy a night out on Nov 6th get yourself down to Quirky at Inigo (SW8) for some funky house. It’s free to get in, goes on till 2 and even has a brand new smoking area complete with ‘brain-melting heaters’…what more could you want!
7pm-2am

Another great night out which won't cost you a penny is Socialise on 1st Nov at Charterhouse (EC1). This one pretty much does what it says on the tin, providing an ideal location for like-minded, house loving party-goers to gather from 8pm through till 4pm.

I'll be updating this page with the latest gigs real soon so make sure you come back and check it out. You never know, you might even see me on your night out.
